What the preview is for
Stories have a 24-hour life and deleting one that went out wrong is a small but public embarrassment. Previewing at real size catches the three mistakes that account for most of them: content pushed into the top or bottom 250 pixels where Instagram draws its interface, a sticker overlapping something it should not, and text that reads fine on a desktop canvas but not on a phone screen.
